RBAirF RETURNS FROM OPS BADAI TADUH

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 05 November 2024 - The Royal Brunei Air Force Blackhawk S70i helicopters and C295MW transport aircraft with the contingent returned after completing "Ops Badai Taduh," in delivering vital aid to disaster-hit areas in the Philippines. Over the course of the mission, the contingent transported more than 800 boxes of food supplies to remote regions around Sumaoy Island, along with tarpaulin sheets and other materials to aid the rebuilding efforts. Supported by local authorities, the RBAirF effectively conducted airlift tasks to address the ongoing crisis.

The contingent was warmly received by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Defence II, Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and Madam Jacqueline L. Ong, Third Secretary from the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam.

Also present were members of both the Defence Executive Committee and the RBAF Executive Committee. Additional dignitaries included directors at the Ministry of Defence, the Acting Director of East Asia from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Defence and Armed Forces Attaché of the Republic of the Philippines, along with senior officers, and other officials from the Ministry of Defence.

At the Royal Brunei Air Force Base, family members eagerly gathered to welcome home the RBAF contingent. Their anticipation and pride shone through as they greeted their loved ones with heartfelt embraces and words of encouragement.

The RBAF's success in "Ops Badai Taduh" highlights Brunei Darussalam's commitment to humanitarian support and regional solidarity. Utilising air power, the RBAirF swiftly delivered aid to disaster-stricken areas, reinforcing the importance of air assets in emergency relief. Ready for future missions, the RBAirF stands prepared to support communities in need across the region.


TUDB KEMBALI DARI OPS BADAI TADUH

PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Selasa, 05 November 2024 - Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah menyambut kepulangan anggota kerahan bersama helikopter Blackhawk S70i dan pesawat pengangkut C295MW dari perlaksanaan “Ops Badai Taduh" yang mana telah menghantar bantuan asasi ke kawasan yang dilanda bencana di Filipina. Sepanjang misi tersebut, kontinjen telah mengangkut lebih daripada 800 kotak bekalan makanan ke kawasan terpencil sekitar Pulau Sumaoy, berserta dengan kepingan terpal dan bahan-bahan lain untuk membantu usaha pembinaan semula. Dengan sokongan pihak berkuasa tempatan, TUDB berjaya melaksanakan tugas pengangkutan udara untuk menangani krisis yang sedang berlaku.

Rombongan telah disambut oleh Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri dan Menteri Pertahanan Kedua, Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) dan Madam Jacqueline L. Ong, Setiausaha Ketiga dari Kedutaan Republik Filipina di Brunei Darussalam.

Turut hadir ialah ahli-ahli Jawatankuasa Eksekutif Pertahanan dan Jawatankuasa Eksekutif ABDB. Tetamu kehormat lain termasuk para pengarah di Kementerian Pertahanan, Pemangku Pengarah Asia Timur dari Kementerian Hal Ehwal Luar Negeri, Atase Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Filipina, bersama pegawai-pegawai kanan dan pegawai-pegawai dari Kementerian Pertahanan.

Ahli-ahli keluarga dengan penuh semangat berkumpul menantikan kepulangan kontinjen TUDB di Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba. Kegembiraan dan kebanggaan jelas terlihat di wajah mereka pada saat mereka menyambut insan tersayang dengan pelukan kasih sayang dan kata-kata semangat.

Kejayaan ABDB dalam "Ops Badai Taduh" telah menyerlahkan lagi komitmen Negara Brunei Darussalam terhadap sokongan kemanusiaan dan solidariti serantau. Dengan menggunakan kuasa udara, TUDB dapat menghantar bantuan dengan pantas ke kawasan yang dilanda bencana, mengukuhkan lagi kepentingan aset udara dalam bantuan kecemasan. Bersiap sedia untuk misi akan datang, TUDB bertekad untuk terus menyokong komuniti yang memerlukan di seluruh rantau ini.
