RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 10 December 2024 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), received an Introductory Call via Video Teleconference from Air Marshal Stephen Chappell, the Chief of Air Force of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Also present during the call was Lieutenant Colonel Paul Sanderson, Defence Adviser of Australia to Brunei Darussalam.
During the session, both Chiefs highlighted the strong and long-standing relationship between the RBAirF and the RAAF. They acknowledged the successful collaboration between the two air forces and discussed the importance of continuing and enhancing future interactions and engagements, which would be beneficial for both parties. The Commander of RBAirF emphasised the potential for further collaboration in defence engagement, reflecting the shared commitment to strengthening ties between the two nations.
PEMERINTAH TUDB TERIMA PANGGILAN PENGENALAN DARI PEMERINTAH TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA AUSTRALIA
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Selasa, 10 Disember 2024 - Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), telah menerima Panggilan Pengenalan melalui Persidangan Video daripada Air Marshal Stephen Chappell, Pemerintah Tentera Udara Tentera Diraja Australia (TUDA). Turut hadir semasa panggilan tersebut ialah Leftenan Kolonel Paul Sanderson, Penasihat Pertahanan Australia ke Brunei Darussalam.
Semasa sesi tersebut, kedua-dua Pemerintah menekankan hubungan yang kukuh dan lama terjalin antara TUDB dan TUDA. Mereka mengiktiraf kerjasama yang berjaya antara kedua-dua tentera udara tersebut dan membincangkan kepentingan untuk meneruskan dan meningkatkan interaksi serta penglibatan pada masa depan, yang akan memberikan manfaat kepada kedua-dua pihak. Pemerintah TUDB menekankan potensi untuk kerjasama lanjut dalam penglibatan pertahanan, mencerminkan komitmen bersama untuk memperkukuhkan hubungan antara kedua-dua negara.
