SEVILLE, FRIDAY, 20 DECEMBER 2024 - Four Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) pilots have completed their Initial Simulator Training for the C295MW aircraft, held at the International Training Centre, Airbus Defence and Space, Seville, Spain from 10 December 2024 to 20 December 2024.
The course focuses on developing the piloting skills necessary for safe and efficient operation of the C295MW aircraft within a controlled training environment. This course is one of the initial steps taken for a pilot under training to become operational in the RBAirF.
The four pilots underwent training in a range of procedures, including the handling of normal and emergency procedures both on the ground and in-flight. The simulator training will qualify these pilots for the subsequent phase of training, which involves flying the C295MW aircraft.

Initial Simulator Training bagi pesawat C295MW bertempat di
International Training Centre,
Airbus Defence
and Space, Seville, Sepanyol, bermula 10 Disember 2024 sehingga 20 Disember 2024.
Kursus ini memberi tumpuan kepada peningkatan kemahiran penerbangan yang diperlukan untuk mengendalikan pesawat C295MW dengan selamat dan efisien dalam persekitaran latihan yang terkawal. Latihan simulator ini akan melayakkan juruterbang untuk melangkah ke fasa latihan seterusnya, iaitu latihan penerbangan menggunakan pesawat sebenar C295MW.
Keempat-empat juruterbang tersebut telah menjalani latihan dalam pelbagai prosedur, termasuk pengendalian prosedur normal dan kecemasan di darat serta semasa penerbangan. Latihan simulator ini akan melayakkan juruterbang untuk melangkah ke fasa latihan seterusnya, iaitu latihan penerbangan menggunakan pesawat C295MW sebenar.
