COLONEL (UDARA) HAJI ALIRUPENDI BIN HAJI PERUDIN
Colonel (Udara) Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin is holding the post of Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Air Force since 24 December 2020. He joined the Royal Brunei Armed Forces in September 1992. His professional development began upon graduating from Royal Air Force College, Cranwell United Kingdom in 1994. He then attended various career development courses locally and abroad in United Kingdom, Malaysia, Republic of Singapore and India. He graduated with a psc from Defence Services Staff College, India in 2008. He is also an alumnus of the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College, graduating in 2016. He obtained Masters of Science in Defence and Strategic Studies from University of Madras, India and Master of Science in Defence Studies from National University of Malaysia.
Some of the key posts he had held in the Royal Brunei Air Force included Officer Commanding Base Defence Squadron, Air Regiment Training Officer, Officer Commanding No. 33 Squadron, Second-in-Command Air Regiment and Commanding Officer Air Regiment. At the Ministry of Defence he had held the posts of Aide-de-camp to Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Defence Attache of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Philippines, Military Assistant to Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Staff Officer Grade 1 Personnel and Director of Personnel.
Colonel (Udara) Haji Alirupendi was awarded by His Majesty The Sultan Dan Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam with The Most Blessed Order of Setia Negara Brunei 4th Class (P.S.B) in 2016. Colonel (Udara) Haji Alirupendi was born in June 1973. He likes to read books, play golf and soccer. He is married to Hajah Azizah binti Haji Miramit.
