Royal Brunei Airlines Golf Club, Saturday, 09 January 2021- The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a Golf Interaction in conjunction with the 'Appreciation For The Men In Uniform' for First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, the former Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) to honour his end of service at the Royal Brunei Airlines Golf Club.
The event was led by Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of RBAirF. To enliven the event, Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) was invited to participate in the golf interaction. Also present were the Chief of Staff of RBAF, members of the Board of Executives of the RBAirF as well as senior officers of the RBAirF.
The event began with a round of golf followed by lunch attended by all the senior officers of the RBAirF. The former Commander of the RBN was presented with a memento by the Commander of the RBAirF as a token of appreciation. The event continued with a parting speech from the Commander of RBAirF where he highlighted on the camaraderie and friendship shared between the two services and further encouraged officers to partake golf as it is a healthy hobby on an international level. The event was concluded with the speech from the former Commander of RBN gave a speech where he felt honoured and humbled to be a part of the golf event and encouraged cooperation between the services in RBAF and followed by photo session.

'APPRECIATION FOR THE MEN IN UNIFORM'
Royal Brunei Airlines Golf Club, Sabtu, 09 Januari 2021- Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengadakan Golf Interaksi sempena 'Appreciation For The Men In Uniform' untuk Laksamana Pertama Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, mantan Pemerintah Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) sebagai tanda penghargaan sepanjang perkhidmatan beliau yang telah diadakan di Royal Brunei Airlines Golf Club.
Acara golf tersebut diketuai oleh by Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Pemerintah TUDB. Turut serta dijemput dalam memeriahkan acara tersebut ialah Mejar Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei. Turut menyertai ialah Ketua Staf ABDB, ahli lembaga Eksekutif TUDB dan juga pegawai-pegawai kanan TUDB.
Acara ini dimulakan dengan satu pusingan golf diikuti dengan makan tengahari yang dihadiri oleh semua pegawai-pegawai kanan TUDB. Mantan Pemerintah TLDB dipersembahkan sebuah memento oleh Pemerintah TUDB sebagai tanda perhargaan sepanjang perkhidmatan beliau. Acara diteruskan dengan ucapan perpisahan daripada Pemerintah TUDB yang mana beliau menekankan kepentingan persahabatan diantara kedua unit. Selain itu, Pemerintah TUDB turut menggalakan para pegawai untuk menyertai sukan golf kerana sukan tersebut boleh menjadi hobi yang berguna di peringkat antarabangsa. Acara diakhiri dengan ucapan dari mantan Pemerintah TLDB memberikan ucapan penutup dimana beliau dengan rendah hati dapat mengikut serta dalam acara golf yang dikendalikan dan mengharapkan Kerjasama diantara bukan sahaja unit sendiri akan tetapi unit-unit dibawah RBAF dan diteruskan dengan bergambar ramai.
