RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 24 June 2024 – To commemorate the Royal Brunei Air Force's (RBAirF) 58th Anniversary, the airmen and airwomen including the civilian staffs gathered adorning the various RBAirF vocational uniforms for a parade to mark the occasion at Hangar B, Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB).
Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of RBAirF graced the event as the Guest of Honour and was presented with the Honourary Salute led by Colonel (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Deputy Commander of RBAirF.
The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Al -Fatihah followed by the Commander of the RBAirF 58th Anniversary address highlighting several significant achievements accomplished by the RBAirF which includes advancements in RBAirF operational capabilities, the enhancement of operational capacity and training effectiveness including strengthening of bilateral relations. The Commander RBAirF emphasised these achievements were possible due to the continuous support and dedication of everyone involved and urged all members to embrace the RBAirF core values of Service Above Self, Teamwork and Excellence, which will strengthen RBAirF's reputation as a credible and effective air force worldwide.
The 58th RBAirF anniversary marked another significant milestone with the establishment of the RBAirF Training Group and the presentation of the No.8 Wing Badge to the newly appointed Commanding Officer of No. 8 Wing, Lieutenant Colonel (U) Muhammad Zabri bin Abdul Rahman. The event concluded with the recital of Doa by Uztaz Pg Fakhrul Syakirin bin Pg Hj Zainuddin, RBAirF Religious Teacher followed by a group photo session before proceeding to Dewan Punai, Rimba AFB for cake cutting and lunch.
In conjunction with the 58th anniversary, various events have been held, including the Recital of Surah Yassin and Tahlil at the Royal Mausoleum, Cemetery Cleaning Campaign and Tahlil Recitation, and a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony held yesterday. Future events include a Gala Night and RBAirF Family Day.
TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA BRUNEI MENYAMBUT HARI ULANG TAHUN KE-58
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Isnin, 24 Jun 2024 – Dalam memperingati Hari Ulang Tahun Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) ke-58, anggota-anggota tentera serta kakitangan awam TUDB berkumpul dengan pelbagai seragam TUDB bagi Perbarisan HUT TUDB bertempat di Hangar B, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba (PTU Rimba)
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Pemerintah TUDB menerima Tabik Kehormat yang diketuai oleh Kolonel(U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Timbalan Pemerintah TUDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan Ucapan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-58 daripada Pemerintah TUDB yang menyerlahkan beberapa pencapaian penting yang telah dihasilkan oleh TUDB termasuk kemajuan dalam keupayaan operasi TUDB, peningkatan kapasiti operasi dan keberkesanan latihan termasuk pengukuhan hubungan dua hala. Pemerintah TUDB menekankan pencapaian-pencapaian ini cuma dapat dicapai dengan sokongan dan dedikasi yang berterusan dari semua warga TUDB yang terlibat dan menggesa semua warga TUDB akan sentiasa menghayati nilai-nilai teras TUDB iaitu
Service Above Self, Teamwork and Excellence yang akan seterusnya meningkatkan lagi reputasi TUDB sebagai tentera udara yang kredibel dan berkesan di mata dunia.
Ulang tahun TUDB ke-58 juga menandakan satu lagi peristiwa penting dengan penubuhan Kumpulan Latihan TUDB dan penyampaian lencana Cawangan No.8 kepada Pegawai Pemerintah Cawangan No. 8 yang baru, Leftenan Kolonel (U) Muhammad Zabri bin Abdul Rahman. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa oleh Uztaz Pg Fakhrul Syakirin bin Pg Hj Zainuddin, Guru Agama TUDB dan diikuti dengan sesi bergambar ramai sebelum beredar ke Dewan Punai, Rimba AFB untuk Sesi memotong kek dan Jamuan tengahari.
Sempena Hari Ulang Tahun ke-58, pelbagai acara telah diadakan. Antaranya adalah Bacaan Surah Yassin dan Tahlil di Kubah Makam Diraja, Kempen Membersih dan Menziarahi Tanah Perkuburan dan Bertahlil, serta Majlis Doa Kesyukuran yang diadakan semalam. Acara seterusnya yang akan dikendalikan termasuk Malam Gala dan Hari Keluarga TUDB.
