REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Saturday, 20 May 2023 – The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) conducted the Aviation Physiology Training (APT) Course from 14 to 19 May 2023. The course was held at the RSAF Aeromedical Centre in Paya Lebar, Republic of Singapore. A total of 15 personnel from the Royal Brunei Air Force participated in the course, including 05 operational pilots, 01 student pilot, and 09 crewmen.
The primary objective of the APT Course is to provide education and experience to aircrew and aviation-related personnel on the impact of the aviation environment on the human body, both physically and mentally. This is particularly important for individuals operating in high-altitude conditions. The course employed advanced aeromedical simulators to deliver realistic physiological training to the aircrew, enabling them to experience various physiological stressors that they may encounter while operating an aircraft.
15 ANGGOTA TUDB MENGHADIRI KURSUS AVIATION PHYSIOLOGY TRAINING (APT) DI REPUBLIK SINGAPURA
REPUBLIK SINGAPURA, Sabtu, 20 Mei 2023 – Kursus Aviation Physiology Training (APT) telah dikendalikan oleh Tentera Udara Republik Singapura (TURS) dari 14 hingga 19 Mei 2023. Kursus tersebut berlangsung di TURS Aeromedical Centre, Paya Lebar, Republik Singapura. Kursus ini telah dihadiri oleh 15 anggota yang terdiri daripada 05 juruterbang, 01 pelatih juruterbang dan 09 anak buah pesawat.
Kursus APT bertujuan untuk memberikan pendedahan kepada juruterbang terhadap kesan persekitaran penerbangan yang boleh memberikan impak kepada mental dan fizikal terutama sekali kepada juruterbang yang beroperasi pada altitude yang tinggi. Kursus ini juga menyediakan latihan fisiologi yang realistik dengan menggunakan aeromedical simulators yang canggih, membolehkan mereka mengalami banyak tekanan fisiologi yang mereka mungkin terdedah semasa mengendalikan pesawat.
