The RBAirF Commander was accompanied by Major (U) Dayangku Aainaamolyatie binti Pengiran Salim, Integrated Project Team (IPT) Lead for Early Warning System (EWS) RBAirF, and Captain (U) Sufiah binti Ramlee, IPT for Unmanned Aerial System RBAirF, toured the exhibition at the MIEC to engage and expand networks with the defence industries towards forging new insights into RBAirF’s capability development plans. During the visit, the RBAirF Commander also took part in bilateral engagement with General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohd Asghar Khan Goriman Khan, Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), to further strengthen cooperation and relations between the two Air Forces.
Apart from engaging with the hosting country, the Commander RBAirF also took the opportunity to also meet with several Air Force Chiefs; Air Staff Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Air Marshal Robert Chipman, Air Officer Commanding No. 2 Group, Royal Air Force (RAF) Air Vice Marshal Suraya Marshall, Republic Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Major General Kelvin Khong, Chief of Staff Indonesian Air Force (IAF) Air Chief Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo, Air Force Inspector General Philippines Air Force (PAF) Major General Teofilo R Bailon Junior, and Director General (Aircraft) Indian Air Force (IAF) Air Marshal Ajar Kumar Arora. In addition, RBAirF Commander conveyed his appreciation to the air forces for their participation and support for the capabilities static display in commemoration of the 62nd Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, which will be conducted in Brunei Darussalam on 31 May 2023.
The RBAirF Commander attended the Air Chief Conference (ACC) on the second day, 24 May 2023 at the MIEC. During the ACC, three important agenda items were presented: "Airspace and Maritime Area Sovereignty Challenges" by Professor Dr. Adam Leong Kok Wey, "Enforcing Airspace and Maritime Sovereign Integrity" by Lieutenant General David S. Nahom, and "Air Power Platforms in Multi-Domain Capability Operation" by Jean-Noel Stock from Thales.
During the 16th edition of LIMA, aero exhibitions were witnessed and strategic discussions were conducted with executives from a number of defence industries, including Jet Aviation Australia, Asia Pacific Defence and Space Division Airbus, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, Leonardo, Havelsan, Lockheed Martin, and Pilatus. CAF attended the Chief of Air Force Dinner at the Pelangi Beach Resort Langkawi on the final day of the visit.

LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL MARITIME AND AEROSPACE (LIMA) EXHIBITION 2023
LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA, Isnin, 22 Mei 2023 – Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah menghadiri Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) Exhibition Edisi ke 16 yang berlangsung mulai 23 hingga 27 Mei 2023 di Pusat Pameran Antarabangsa Mahsuri (MIEC) Langkawi, Malaysia. Pameran yang berlangsung selama lima hari itu merupakan salah satu pameran aerospace terbesar di Asia-Pasifik dan telah dilancarkan secara rasmi oleh Menteri Pertahanan dan Menteri Pengangkutan Malaysia. Tema pada tahun ini adalah “The Nexus of Asia's Maritime and Aerospace Trade”.
Pemerintah TUDB, diiringi oleh Mejar (U) Dk Aainaamolyatie binti Pg Salim, Ketua Projek bagi Early Warning System TUDB dan Kapten (U) Sufiah binti Ramlee, tim projek Unmanned Aerial System TUDB, melawat pameran di MIEC untuk melibatkan dan mengembangkan rangkaian dengan industry pertahanan kearah menjalin perancangan pembangunan keupayaan TUDB. Semasa lawatan, Pemerintah TUDB turut menjalankan perbincangan dua hala dengan Jeneral Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohd Asghar Khan Goriman Khan, Panglima Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) bagi mengukuhkan lagi kerjasama dan hubungan antara kedua-dua tentera udara.
Selain daripada itu, Pemerintah TUDB juga turut mengambil kesempatan membuat perjumpaan dua hala bersama dengan beberapa tentera udara sahabat yang lain iaitu; Ketua Staf Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Air Marshal Robert Chipman, Air Officer Commanding No. 2 Group, Royal Air Force (RAF) Air Vice Marshal Suraya Marshall, Republic Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Major General Kelvin Khong, Ketua Staf Indonesian Air Force Air Chief Marshal Fadjar Prase tyo, Air Force Inspector General Philippines Air Force (PAF) Major General Teofilo R Bailon Junior dan Director General (Aircraft) Indian Air Force (IAF) Air Marshal Ajar Kumar Arora.
