CLOSING CEREMONY FOR BASIC AIRBORNE COURSE SERIES 2/2024 AND BASIC MILITARY FREEFALL 2024 SESSION

​​RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 31 October 2024 – Lieutenant Colonel (U) Mohd Hairy Erwandy bin Haji Raya, Commander of Operations Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), officiated the closing ceremony and presented certificates along with vocational badges to the participants of the Basic Airborne Course Series 2/2024 and the Basic Military Freefall Course 2024 at the RBAirF Dropzone, Rimba Air Force Base.

The Basic Airborne and Military Freefall Courses, held from 07 to 31 October 2024, are designed to train and equip personnel with the skills necessary to execute airborne and military freefall jumps safely and precisely. In addition to technical training, the courses emphasize leadership development and enhance participants' self-confidence through rigorous, hands-on training and exercises.

The four-week Basic Airborne Course was completed by three personnel from 31 Squadron, while one personnel from the same squadron successfully completed the Basic Military Freefall session. The RBAirF extends its congratulations to all participants on their successful completion of the courses.


MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS ASAS PAYUNG TERJUN STATIK AIRBORNE SIRI 2/2024 DAN KURSUS ASAS PAYUNG TERJUN BEBAS SESI 2024

PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Khamis, 31 Oktober 2024 – Leftenan Kolonel (U) Mohd Hairy Erwandy bin Haji Raya, Pemerintah Kumpulan Gerakan, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), telah merasmikan majlis penutup dan menyampaikan sijil serta lencana vokasional kepada peserta Kursus Asas Airborne siri 2/2024 dan Kursus Asas Military Freefall sesi 2024  di Drop Zone TUDB, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba.

Kursus Asas Airborne siri 2/2024 dan Kursus Asas Military Freefall sesi 2024, yang dikendalikan dari 07 hingga 31 Oktober 2024 ini bertujuan bagi melatih serta membekalkan anggota dengan kemahiran yang diperlukan untuk melaksanakan terjunan payung dan terjun bebas dengan selamat dan tepat. Selain latihan teknikal, kursus ini turut memberi penekanan kepada pembangunan kepimpinan serta meningkatkan keyakinan diri peserta melalui latihan praktikal yang intensif dan latihan fizikal.

Kursus Asas Airborne selama empat minggu ini telah disertai oleh tiga orang anggota dari Skuadron 31, manakala seorang anggota dari skuadron yang sama berjaya menamatkan sesi Kursus Asas Military Freefall. TUDB merakamkan ucapan tahniah kepada semua peserta kursus atas kejayaan mereka menamatkan kursus-kursus ini.
