ROYAL MALAYSIAN AIR FORCE DELEGATION CONCLUDES 4-DAY JUNIOR OFFICERS EXCHANGE PROGRAMME IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 18 November 2024 – The conclusion of the Junior Officer Exchange Programme (JOEP) between Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) marks a meaningful step in strengthening ties and enhancing mutual understanding between both Air Forces as it featured a range of professional and cultural activities.

In the four-day program, RMAF delegation had the opportunity to gain insights on the RBAirF capabilities and operations as the delegation were provided with an array of visits and interactions with the RBAirF officers and personnel. Among the activities provided was a working visit to the RBAirF Headquarters that included a corporate briefing on the RBAirF, a tour to the static display showcasing the RBAirF's capabilities and also to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Museum. The RMAF delegation also held a call with the Commander Operations Group, Lieutenant Colonel (U) Mohd Hairy Erwandy bin Haji Raya.

Beyond the formal activities, the programme included cultural visits to key landmarks such as the Royal Regalia Museum and a river cruise at Kampong Ayer, where delegates experienced the unique heritage of Brunei. In addition to the professional exchanges, the delegation participated in a friendly paintball match, which provided a fun and engaging way to build camaraderie and strengthen bonds among the officers. The event culminated with a farewell dinner, marking the successful conclusion of the programme.

The 4-day official visit underscored the importance of exchanges between Malaysia and Brunei, further strengthening the longstanding bilateral ties between the RMAF and RBAirF. The programme fostered deeper collaboration, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to enhancing cooperation between the two air forces.


DELEGASI TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA MALAYSIA MENGAKHIRI 4-HARI JUNIOR OFFICERS EXCHANGE PROGRAMME DI BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Isnin, 18 November 2024 - Penutup Program Pertukaran Pegawai Muda (JOEP) antara Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) dan Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) adalah satu pencapaian yang bermakna dalam memperkukuh hubungan dan meningkatkan persefahaman bersama antara kedua-dua angkatan udara melalui pelbagai aktiviti profesional dan budaya.

Dalam program selama empat hari tersebut, delegasi TUDM berpeluang mendalami keupayaan dan operasi TUDB melalui pelbagai lawatan dan interaksi bersama pegawai serta anggota TUDB. Antara aktiviti yang disediakan termasuk lawatan kerja ke Markas TUDB yang merangkumi taklimat korporat TUDB, lawatan ke pameran statik keupayaan TUDB, serta lawatan ke Muzium Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei. Delegasi TUDM juga mengadakan kunjungan hormat kepada Pemerintah Kumpulan Gerakan, Leftenan Kolonel (U) Mohd Hairy Erwandy bin Haji Raya.

Selain daripada aktiviti formal, program ini juga turut merangkumi lawatan budaya ke mercu tanda utama seperti Muzium Alat Kebesaran Diraja dan menyelusuri Kampong Ayer, di mana para delegasi dapat merasa keunikan warisan Brunei. Di samping pertukaran secara profesional, delegasi juga menyertai pertandingan paintball yang menyeronokkan dan interaktif dalam membina hubungan persahabatan dan mengukuhkan ikatan antara pegawai-pegawai. Program ini diakhiri dengan majlis makan malam perpisahan yang menandakan berakhirnya program tersebut.

Lawatan rasmi selama empat hari ini menekankan kepentingan program pertukaran antara Malaysia dan Brunei, sekaligus memperkukuhkan lagi hubungan dua hala yang telah lama terjalin antara TUDM dan TUDB. Program ini telah memupuk bukan sahaja kerjasama dengan lebih mendalam, bahkan juga rasa penghormatan serta komitmen bersama untuk meningkatkan kerjasama antara kedua-dua angkatan udara.
