RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 29 September 2022 – 15 personnel from the Special Forces Regiment (SFR), Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) completed the 8th Basic Airborne Static Line Course which was held at the Rimba Air Force Base (Rimba AFB) Drop Zone. Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, Commander Operations Group of Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). Also present during the event were officers from the RBAirF and SFR.
The ceremony began with a recital of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by an airborne demonstration performed by the course participants. Following the demonstration, badge and certificates were presented to the course participants.

KURSUS ASAS STATIK LINE PAYUNG TERJUN AIRBORNE KE-8
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Khamis, 29 September 2022 – Seramai 15 anggota terdiri daripada Rejimen Pasukan Khas (RPK) telah menamatkan Kursus Asas Statik Line Payung Terjun Airborne bertempat di Drop Zone, TUDB. Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat adalah Kolonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin, Pemerintah Kumpulan Gerakan TUDB. Turut menghadiri acara tersebut adalah pegawai-pegawai daripada TUDB dan RPK.
Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surat Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan persembahan statik line airborne yang dipersembahkan oleh peserta-peserta kursus dan diakhiri dengan penyampaian lencana dan sijil yang disampaikan oleh tetamu kehormat.
Kursus selama 04 minggu ini bermula pada 5 September 2022. Ianya bertujuan untuk melahirkan penerjun-penerjun yang kompeten bagi melaksanakan tugas terjun payung secara menyeluruh dan kemahiran-kemahiran seperti tatacara keluar daripada pesawat, mengawal payung semasa penerjunan dan sebagainya.
The four-week course that began on 05 September 2022 aimed to produce competent airborne certified personnel who can execute proper airborne decent, basic static line exit, and able to perform to its operational standards.
