MINISTRY OF DEFENCE AND ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES CONTINUE BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN

BLOOD DONATION CENTRE, RIPASH, Thursday, 09 September 2021 – The Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) continues its blood donation campaign with the Blood Donation Centre (BDC), Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital (RIPASH) from the 6 to 9 September 2021. 

Eighty staff and personnel came to donate blood to support BDC's goal while complying with preventive measures, including limiting the number of donors at one time, social distancing, temperature checking, and scanning the QR code before entering the centre.

This drive is the second blood donation campaign to help the Ministry of Health (MoH) provide a continuous and sufficient blood supply in Brunei Darussalam. The first campaign began in August 2021. The campaign also aims to help individuals in need and assist the government and community of Brunei Darussalam in addressing the COVID-19 outbreak.




KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN DAN ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI TERUSKAN USAHA KEMPEN DERMA DARAH

PUSAT PENDERMAAN DARAH, Khamis, 09 September 2021 - Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) meneruskan kempen pendermaan darah bersama Pusat Pendermaan Darah, Hospital Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) dari 6 hingga 9 September 2021.

Seramai 80 orang kakitangan dan anggota telah hadir untuk menderma darah bagi menyokong misi Pusat Pendermaan Darah, dengan mematuhi langkah-langkah pencegahan termasuk mengehadkan jumlah keramaian penderma di dalam dewan pada satu masa yang sama, penjarakan sosial, pemeriksaan suhu bahan dan mengimbas kod QR sebelum masuk ke pusat berkenaan. 

Ini merupakan kempen derma darah kali kedua bagi membantu Kementerian Kesihatan menyediakan bekalan darah yang berterusan dan mencukupi di Negara Brunei Darussalam. Kempen pertama bermula pada bulan Ogos 2021. Kempen ini juga bertujuan untuk membantu individu yang memerlukan serta membantu kerajaan dan masyarakat Negara Brunei Darussalam dalam menangani wabak COVID-19.
