The Ministry of Defence would like to inform the public, especially
road users travelling along the Rimba Highway, Tungku Highway, Muara-Tutong Highway, several flyovers; the Rimba Flyover, the DST Tower Flyover, The Empire Brunei Flyover, the Berakas Flyover, and their surrounding areas including the Berakas Forest Reserve Recreational Park that the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) will be conducting
a Cycling Expedition Event in conjunction with the RBAF 63rd Anniversary. (Please refer to the route map of the expedition on the next page)
The expedition will
take place on Sunday, 22 December 2024, starting from Rimba Air Force Base at 6.45 am and is expected to conclude at the same location by 9.10 am.
Road users travelling along these routes are
reminded to exercise caution and remain vigilant when approaching the expedition’s convoy. Cooperation from road users is highly appreciated and any instructions given by the personnel on duty must be complied.
Road users are also
advised to plan their journey or use alternative routes to avoid any inconvenience that may arise during the duration of the expedition.

Flyover Berakas, dan kawasan persekitarannya termasuk Taman Rekreasi Hutan Simpanan Berakas bahawa Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) akan mengadakan
Acara Ekspedisi Berbasikal sempena Hari Ulang Tahun ABDB yang Ke-63 Tahun. (Sila rujuk rajah laluan ekspedisi di muka sebelah)
Expedisi tersebut akan
berlangsung pada hari Ahad, 22 Disember 2024 bermula dari Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba pada jam 6.45 pagi dan dijangka berakhir 9.10 pagi dilokasi yang sama.
Para pengguna jalanraya yang melalui laluan-laluan
diingatkan untuk mengamalkan langkah berjaga-jaga dan berwaspada semasa menghampiri konvoi ekspedisi tersebut.
Kerjasama dari para pengguna jalanraya adalah sangat dihargai dan sebarang arahan dari petugas-petugas perlu diikuti sepenuhnya.
Para pengguna jalanraya juga
dinasihatkan untuk merancang perjalanan ataupun menggunakan laluan alternatif bagi mengelakkan sebarang kesulitan yang mungkin timbul di sepanjang tempoh ekspedisi berlangsung.
