​ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE (RBAirF) PARTICIPATES IN ASEAN PEACEKEEPING STAFF EXERCISE 3 (APSE 3) PLANNING WORKSHOP IN THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES

Tarlac, Republic of the Philippines – 28 March 2025 – Representing the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Major (U) Pengiran Abd Azim bin Pengiran Idris participated in the ASEAN Peacekeeping Staff Exercise 3 (APSE 3) Planning Workshop held at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Peacekeeping Operations Center (AFPPKOC) from 24 to 28 March 2025.

RBAirF's participation in this workshop reflects its continued commitment to regional peacekeeping efforts and military professionalism in multinational operations. Through scenario-based discussions, participants actively contributed to streamlining mission planning, reviewing standing operating procedures (SOPs), and enhancing coordination in multinational peacekeeping missions.


The workshop served as a key preparatory platform ahead of the APSE 3 Staff Exercise (STAFFEX) scheduled for 15–28 September 2025, aiming to refine planning documents and align exercise frameworks to improve ASEAN interoperability in Peace Support Operations (PSO).


In his opening address, Colonel Warlito A. Limet Arm, Commanding Officer of AFPPKOC, underscored the importance of regional cooperation in maintaining peace and security. He highlighted how such workshops improve staff planning, foster multinational collaboration, and enhance operational readiness under the United Nations framework.


RBAirF's active participation reaffirms Brunei's support for regional collaboration and ASEAN’s shared commitment to promoting stability and peacekeeping efforts globally.





TUDB MENYERTAI ASEAN PEACEKEEPING STAFF EXERCISE 3 (APSE 3) PLANNING WORKSHOP DI REPUBLIK FILIPINA


Tarlac, Republik Filipina – 28 Mac 2025 – Mejar (U) Pengiran Abd Azim bin Pengiran Idris telah mewakili Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) dalam ASEAN Peacekeeping Staff Exercise 3 (APSE 3) Planning Workshop yang telah berlangsung di Pusat Operasi Pengaman Angkatan Bersenjata Filipina (AFPPKOC) dari 24 hingga 28 Mac 2025.


Penyertaan TUDB mencerminkan komitmen berterusan negara terhadap usaha pengaman serantau serta memperkukuh profesionalisme ketenteraan dalam operasi pelbagai negara. Melalui perbincangan berdasarkan senario, para peserta telah menyumbang secara aktif dalam penyelarasan perancangan misi, mengkaji semula prosedur operasi standard (SOP) serta meningkatkan koordinasi dalam misi pengaman pelbagai negara.


Bengkel ini menjadi platform persediaan utama menjelang latihan APSE 3 Staff Exercise (STAFFEX) yang dijadualkan berlangsung pada 15–28 September 2025, dengan tujuan memperhalusi dokumen perancangan dan menyelaraskan rangka kerja latihan untuk memperkukuh keberkesanan ASEAN dalam Operasi Sokongan Keamanan (PSO).


Dalam ucapan pembukaan, Kolonel Warlito A. Limet Arm, Pegawai Pemerintah AFPPKOC menekankan kepentingan kerjasama serantau dalam mengekalkan keamanan dan keselamatan. Beliau menyatakan bahawa bengkel ini membantu memperbaiki perancangan staf, memupuk kerjasama pelbagai negara dan meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan operasi di bawah rangka kerja Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB).


Penyertaan aktif TUDB ini sekali lagi menegaskan sokongan Brunei terhadap kerjasama serantau dan komitmen ASEAN dalam mempromosikan kestabilan dan usaha pengaman di peringkat global.
