ROYAL BRUNEI MALAY RESERVE REGIMENT (RBMRR) 34TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

RIMBA CAMP, Saturday, 27 November 2021 - The Royal Brunei Malay Reserve Regiment (RBMRR) celebrated its 34th Anniversary today at the Datu Bendahara Meeting Room, RBMRR, following the Transition Phase Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) stipulated by the Government of His Majesty Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.


Present as the Guest of Honour at the ceremony was Lieutenant Colonel Muhd ​​ Suradzin bin Haji Muhd ​​ Yusof, Commanding Officer of the RBMRR. Also present were Major (Askar Simpanan) Pengiran Mas Hamin Bahrin bin Pengiran Momin who is the Chairperson of the ceremony, the RBMRR Deputy Commanding Officer, Officer Commanding of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Military Cadet, Officers (AS), the RBMRR Regimental Sergeant Major, the RBAF Military Cadet Administrative Officer, as well as RBMRR military personnel and staff.


The event began with the recitations of Surah Al-Fatihah, Surah Yasin and Tahlil, and Doa Kesyukuran for the RBMRR’s 34th anniversary celebration led by Ustaz Mohammad Rusaini bin Awang, RBMRR Religious Teacher.


This was followed by a speech by the Guest of Honour, where he recalled the journey and achievements of the RBMRR and RBAF Military Cadets since the establishment of the RBMRR. He also hoped that the RBMRR would continue to work more diligently in supporting relevant defence activities and become a successful generation of layered support for the RBAF in maintaining and ensuring continuous services, especially in adapting to the current COVID-19 transition situation and beyond. The ceremony then continued with the 34th anniversary cake cutting ceremony.


Among the activities carried out in conjunction with the RBMRR’s 34th anniversary celebration was the blood donation campaign on 24th and 25th November 2021 and the cemetery cleaning campaign at Meritus Kambar Islamic Cemetery, Kampong Manggis, on 24th November 2021.








SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN ASKAR SIMPANAN MELAYU
DIRAJA BRUNEI YANG KE-34


RIMBA KEM, Sabtu, 27 November 2021 – Askar Simpanan Melayu Diraja Brunei (ASMDB) telah meraikan Sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun yang ke-34 pada hari ini di Bilik Mesyuarat Datu Bendahara ASMDB mengikut garis pandu Fasa Peralihan dan Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) seperti yang ditetapkan oleh Kerajaan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam.


Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat di majlis ini ialah Leftenan Kolonel Muhd Suradzin bin Haji Muhd Yusof, Pegawai Pemerintah ASMDB. Turut hadir ialah Pengerusi Majlis Sambutan iaitu Mejar (Askar Simpanan) Pengiran Mas Hamin Bahrin bin Pengiran Momin, Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah ASMDB, Pegawai Memerintah Kadet Tentera, Pegawai-pegawai (Askar Simpanan), Sarjan Mejar ASMDB, Pegawai Tadbir Kadet Tentera Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) serta anggota-anggota tentera dan kakitangan awam ASMDB.


Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan bacaan surah Yasin dan tahlil serta doa kesyukuran Hari Ulang tahun ASMDB yang dipimpin oleh Ustaz Mohammad Rusaini bin Awang, Guru Ugama ASMDB.


Acara diikuti dengan ucapan dari tetamu kehormat di mana beliau mengimbas kembali perjalanan dan pencapaian Askar Simpanan dan Kadet Tentera ABDB sejak pertubuhan ASMDB. Beliau turut berharap ASMDB akan terus berusaha dengan lebih tekun dalam membantu aktiviti pertahanan dan juga sebagai generasi pelapis kepada anggota tentera ABDB dalam menjaga dan memastikan penyediaan perkhidmatan yang berterusan lebih-lebih lagi dalam mengadaptasikan kepada keadaan semasa fasa peralihan COVID-19 dan di masa hadapan. Majlis kemudian diteruskan dengan upacara pemotongan kek HUT ASMDB yang ke-34. 


Di antara aktiviti sampingan yang telah dijalankan sempena sambutan HUT ASMDB adalah kempen derma darah yang telah dijalankan pada 24 hingga 25 November 2021 dan kempen membersihkan tanah Perkuburan Islam Meritus Kambar, Kampong Manggis pada 24 November 2021.
