BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 12 May 2022 – The 17th International Monitoring Team, contingent of Negara Brunei Darussalam (17th IMT NBD) led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohd Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Hj Ramli and the Independent Decommissioning Body Verification, Monitoring and Assistance Team 3/2021 (IDB VMAT 3/2021) that was led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Shalleh bin Haji Ismail safely returned to Brunei Darussalam in April 2022 after successfully completing their tours of duty in Mindanao, the Republic of the Philippines.
Present as the Guest of Honour for the welcoming ceremony was Brigadier General (U) Hj Alirupendi bin Hj Perudin, Joint Force Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).
Brunei Darussalam deployed five RBAF officers and one Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) officer as successors to the 18th IMT-M NBD in March 2022, as well as four RBAF officers to the 4th IDB VMAT in Mindanao. Prior to the contingent’s flight home, a handover ceremony between the 17th IMT and 18th IMT was held on 18th April 2022 at the Team Site 1 Headquarters, Cotabato City, Mindanao, while a handover ceremony between the IDB VMAT 3/2021 and IDB VMAT 4/2022 was held on 1 April 2022 at the IDB’s Headquarters, Cotabato City, Mindanao.

BOLKIAH GARISON, Khamis, 12 Mei 2022 - Pasukan Pemantau Antarabangsa Mindanao Negara Brunei Darussalam ke-17 (PPA-M NBD ke-17) yang diketuai oleh Leftenan Kolonel Mohd Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Hj Ramli dan anggota misi Independent Decommissioning Body Verification, Monitoring and Assistance Team 3/2021 (IDB VMAT 3/2021) yang diketuai oleh Leftenan Kolonel Mohammad Shalleh bin Haji Ismail telah pulang ke tanah air pada bulan April 2022 setelah berjaya menamatkan misi kerja di Mindanao, Republik Filipina.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat semasa majlis tersebut adalah Brigedier Jeneral (U) Hj Alirupendi bin Hj Perudin, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama ABDB.
Negara Brunei Darussalam telah menghantar lagi 5 orang pegawai dari ABDB dan seorang pegawai Polis Diraja Brunei (PDB) sebagai pengganti misi PPA-M NBD ke-18 serta 4 orang pegawai ABDB sebagai ahli IDB VMAT ke-4 di Mindanao, Republik Filipina pada bulan Mac 2022. Sebelum delegasi pulang ke tanah air, sebuah majlis penyerahan tugas di antara PPA-M NBD ke-17 dan PPA-M NBD ke-18 telah diadakan pada 18 April 2022 di Markas Team Site 1, Cotabato City, Mindanao; manakala majlis penyerahan tugas IDB 3/2021 kepada IDB VMAT 4/2022 telah diadakan pada 1 April 2022 di Markas IDB, Cotabato City, Mindanao.
