Rimba Air Force Base, Friday, 10 October 2025 – The Closing Ceremony for the
Blackhawk S70i Airframe & Powerplant Introductory Course No. 9 and
Blackhawk S70i Avionic Introductory Course No. 7 was successfully held at 51 Squadron, No. 5 Wing, Support Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Rimba Air Base.
The courses, conducted for five-weeks from 8 September to 10 October 2025, were jointly organized by 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Training Group, and 51 Squadron, No. 5 Wing, Support Group. These courses aimed to equip participants with fundamental knowledge and technical understanding of the system components and operational limitations of the Blackhawk S70i helicopter.
A total of twelve personnel participated in the courses, comprising four representatives each from 51 Squadron, the Technical Equipment Maintenance Department (TEMD), and 75 Squadron, RBAirF. The Blackhawk Introductory Courses play a crucial role in strengthening the RBAirF's technical capabilities by developing personnel with essential expertise and operational proficiency. The courses focus on providing an introduction to the Blackhawk helicopter, including its airframe, powerplant, and avionics systems, as well as its functional limitations.

MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS BAGI PENGENALAN BLACKHAWK S70I AIRFRAME & POWERPLANT BIL. 9 DAN KURSUS PENGENALAN BLACKHAWK S70I AVIONIC BIL. 7
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Jumaat, 10 Oktober 2025 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Pengenalan Blackhawk S70i Airframe & Powerplant Bil. 9 dan Kursus Pengenalan Blackhawk S70i Avionic Bil. 7 telah berjaya diadakan di 51 Skuadron, No. 5 Wing, Kumpulan Sokongan, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), Pangkalan Udara Rimba.
Kursus selama lima minggu, bermula dari 8 September hingga 10 Oktober 2025, dan telah dianjurkan bersama oleh 75 Skuadron,No. 7 Wing, Kumpulan Latihan serta 51 Skuadron, No. 5 Wing, Kumpulan Bantu. Kursus ini bertujuan untuk memberikan
pengetahuan asas dan kefahaman teknikal kepada para peserta mengenai komponen sistem serta had operasi helikopter Blackhawk S70i.
Seramai dua belas anggota telah menyertai kursus ini yang terdiri daripada empat wakil dari 51 Skuadron, empat dari Jabatan Penyelenggaraan Peralatan Teknikal (TEMD), dan empat dari 75 Skuadron, TUDB. Kursus Pengenalan Blackhawk memainkan peranan penting dalam memperkukuhkan keupayaan teknikal TUDB dengan melahirkan anggota yang berpengetahuan serta berkemahiran tinggi dalam aspek operasi. Kursus ini memberi tumpuan kepada pengenalan terhadap helikopter Blackhawk, termasuk komponen rangka pesawat, sistem kuasa (powerplant), sistem avionik serta kefahaman mengenai had fungsinya.
Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei ingin merakamkan setinggi-tinggi tahniah kepada semua peserta kursus atas kejayaan menamatkan latihan ini dengan jayanya serta atas komitmen mereka dalam menegakkan tahap profesionalisme dan kecemerlangan yang tinggi dalam organisasi.
