TEMBURONG DISTRICT, Thursday, 25 July 2024 – In conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 78th Birthday celebrations, the Ministry of Defence joined together with the citizens and residents of Temburong District gathered together to greet His Majesty for a Get-Together at the Community Hall Complex, Bangar Town.
Upon the arrival of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the celebration commenced with the citizens and residents of the Temburong District singing the national anthem, "Allah Peliharakan Sultan", followed by a Special Performance with the theme ‘Raja Untuk Rakyat dan Rakyat Untuk Raja’ by over 421 performers composed of school students and youth groups.
His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and members of the Royal Family met with the performers of the Special Performance and then were invited to tour the prepared booths for a meet and greet session with the citizens and residents of Temburong district as well as Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD), school students, cadets, senior citizens, associations, special needs children, Ministry of Defence personnel, Neighborhood Watches, Village Mosques
Takmir committees and private companies.
Upon arrival at the Ministry of Defence booth, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Royal Family were greeted by Major Pengiran Muhamad Syahir Fadilah bin Pengiran Salleh, Acting Officer in Command, Company E, First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (E Coy, 1Bn RBLF). Also present were officers and personnel of E Coy,1Bn RBLF.
His Majesty and the Royal Family were also greeted by the Veterans Association of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Belait District Branch (PERWIRA).

TEMBURONG, Khamis, 25 Julai 2024 – Sempena dengan Sambutan Ulang Tahun Keputeraan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam Ke-78, Kementerian Pertahanan bersama rakyat serta penduduk Daerah Temburong telah bersama-sama berkumpul dengan meriahnya untuk menjunjung keberangkatan Baginda bagi Majlis Ramah Mesra di Kompleks Dewan Kemasyarakatan Pekan Bangar.
Sejurus ketibaan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam, perayaan tersebut dimulakan dengan nyanyian Lagu Kebangsaan “Allah Peliharakan Sultan” oleh rakyat serta penduduk Daerah Temburong dan seterusnya diikuti dengan Persembahan Khas yang bertemakan ‘Raja Untuk Rakyat dan Rakyat Untuk Raja’ oleh lebih 421 orang murid sekolah dan kumpulan belia.
Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dan ahli-ahli Kerabat Diraja seterusnya berangkat menerima junjung ziarah daripada peserta persembahan khas dan juga rakyat dan penduduk daerah Temburong termasuk daripada
Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD),
pelajar-pelajar sekolah, kadet-kadet, warga emas,
persatuan-persatuan, anak-anak Istimewa, Kementerian Pertahanan, Pengawasan Kejiranan, Ahli-ahli Jawatankuasa Takmir Masjid, NGOs di daerah berkenaan dan syarikat-syarikat swasta di khemah-khemah yang tersedia.
Keberangkatan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dan ahli-ahli Kerabat Diraja ke khemah Kementerian Pertahanan telah dijunjung oleh Mejar Pengiran Muhamad Syahir Fadilah bin Pengiran Salleh, Pemangku Pegawai Memerintah Kompeni E, Batalion Pertama Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (Komp E, 1Bn TDDB). Turut hadir adalah pegawai-pegawai dan anggota Komp E, 1Bn TDDB.
Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dan ahli-ahli Kerabat Diraja juga dijunjung oleh Persatuan Veteran Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei Cawangan Temburong (PERWIRA).
