BOLKIAH GARISSON, Tuesday 6 August 2013 - In the continuous efforts of enhancing and strengthening the levels of security within the Ministry of Defence as well as the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), the Defence Security Branch through the undertaking of the Security Training Division has taken upon another step to initiate further awareness by successfully producing their pilot Security Awareness posters.
Among others, it aims to enhance and stimulate security awareness and education for all levels of personnel within the ministry and RBAF.
Present as the Guest of Honour and to hand over the posters was Colonel Haji Zainal Ariffin bin Dato Paduka Haji Ahmad, the Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force.
Also present during the ceremony were the Intelligence and Security Staff Officers, as well Unit Security Officers from various units from the Ministry of Defence and then RBAF.
The event then continued with the presentation of certificates of participation to 20 officers, who have successfully completed the Unit Security Officer Course Series 02/2013.
MAJLIS PENYERAHAN POSTER KESEDARAN SEKURITI DAN PENUTUP KURSUS PEGAWAI SEKURITI UNIT SIRI 02/2013
BOLKIAH GARISON, Selasa 6 Ogos 2013 -
Dalam meningkatkan serta mengukuhkan tahap sekuriti di Kementerian
Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB), beberapa usaha
terus dijalankan oleh Cawangan Sekuriti Pertahanan melalui Divisyen
Latihan Sekuriti.
Ke
arah itu, satu lagi inisiatif telah berhasil dilaksanakan melalui
penerbitan pertama poster Kesedaran Sekuriti. Antara tujuannya ialah
bagi memberikan kesedaran serta ilmu pengetahuan kepada warga
Kementerian Pertahanan & ABDB dalam aspek-aspek yang berhubung kait
dengan sekuriti.
Hadir
bagi penyerahan poster dan juga selaku tetamu kehormat bagi majlis ini
ialah Kolonel Haji Zainal Ariffin bin Dato Paduka Haji Ahmad, Timbalan
Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei.
Turut
hadir adalah Pegawai-pegawai Timbalan Turus Perisikan &
Keselamatan, Pegawai-pegawai Sekuriti Unit dari Kementerian Pertahanan
dan ABDB.
Majlis juga turut menyaksikan penyampaian sijil bagi 20 pegawai yang
telah berjaya menamatkan kursus Pegawai Sekuriti Unit siri 02/2013.
