TUTONG DISTRICT, Tuesday, 23 July 2024 – In conjunction with His Majesty’s 78th Birthday celebration, the Tutong district has become the opening event for the Get-Together ceremonies with the citizens and residents of the country in which the Ministry of Defence, citizens and residents of the District gathered together to greet His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at the Civic Centre Complex Field, Tutong District.
Upon His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s arrival at the Royal Dais, the celebration began with the citizens and residents of the Tutong District singing of the national anthem, "Allah Peliharakan Sultan", followed by a Special Performance with the theme ‘Raja Berdaulat Kesayangan Rakyat’ involving 340 performers.
His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and members of the Royal Family met with the performers of the Special Performance and then was invited to tour the prepared booths for a meet and greet session with government servants, school students, cadets, senior citizens, and villagers from mukims in the Tutong District as well as representatives of NGOs, associations, chambers of commerce, special needs children, youth associations and private companies.
Upon arrival at the Ministry of Defence booth, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Royal Family were greeted by Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Rajid bin Haji Zainie, Acting Commandant of Training Institute RBAF (TI RBAF), Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Acting Field Commander Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Major Mohamad Safizan bin Ahmad, Chief Instructor, TI RBAF, Major Awang Muhammad Muneer bin Haji Mohammad Taib, Acting Commanding Officer of Second Battalion RBLF (2Bn RBLF) and Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of School of Infantry, RBLF (SOI RBLF) . Also present were officers and personnel of 2Bn RBLF, SOI RBLF and TI RBAF personnel.

DAERAH TUTONG, Selasa, 23 Julai 2024 – Sempena dengan Sambutan Ulang Tahun Keputeraan Baginda Ke-78, Daerah Tutong telah menjadi pembuka tirai bagi Majlis Ramah Mesra Bersama Rakyat seluruh negara dengan Kementerian Pertahanan, rakyat serta penduduk Daerah tersebut bersama-sama berkumpul bagi menjunjung keberangkatan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam di Padang Kompleks Dewan Kemasyarakatan, Daerah Tutong.
Sejurus ketibaan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam di Pentas Diraja, perayaan tersebut bermula dengan nyanyian Lagu Kebangsaan “Allah Peliharakan Sultan” oleh rakyat serta penduduk Daerah Tutong dan seterusnya diikut dengan Persembahan Khas yang bertemakan ‘Raja Berdaulat Kesayangan Rakyat’ yang melibatkan 340 peserta.
Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dan ahli-ahli Kerabat Diraja seterusnya berkenan dijunjung beramah mesra dan menerima junjung ziarah daripada peserta persembahan khas dan seterusnya daripada warga perkhidmatan awam, pelajar-pelajar sekolah, kadet-kadet, warga emas, penduduk-penduduk kampong dari mukim-mukim di Daerah Tutong, wakil-wakil NGOs, persatuan-persatuan, dewan-dewan perniagaan, anak-anak istimewa, kumpulan-kumpulan belia dan syarikat-syarikat swasta di khemah-khemah yang tersedia.
Keberangkatan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dan ahli-ahli Kerabat Diraja ke khemah Kementerian Pertahanan telah dijunjung oleh Leftenan Kolonel Abdul Rajid bin Haji Zainie, Pemangku Komandan Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB), Leftenan Kolonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Pemangku Pemerintah Medan Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Mejar Mohamad Safizan bin Ahmad, Ketua Jurulatih IL ABDB, Mejar Awang Muhammad Muneer bin Haji Mohammad Taib, Pemangku Pegawai Pemerintah Batalion Kedua TDDB (2Bn TDDB) dan Mejar Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Pemerintah, Sekolah Infantri TDDB (SI TDDB) . Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota 2Bn TDDB, SI TDDB dan IL ABDB.
