BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 05 February 2025 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) attended the 2025 Indo-Pacific Chiefs of Defense (CHOD) virtual meeting.
The virtual meeting was hosted by Admiral Samuel Paparo, Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) and attended by 27 Chiefs of Defence and representatives from across the Indo-Pacific region. The meeting focused on regional security issues and strategies to strengthen cooperation for advancing global security. Participants also had the opportunity to propose topics of common concern to be addressed during the in-person 2025 CHOD Conference, scheduled to take place in the Gulf of Thailand, Kingdom of Thailand from 26 to 28 August 2025.

BOLKIAH GARISON, Rabu, 05 Februari 2025 – Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif, Timbalan Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah menghadiri mesyuarat Indo-Pacific Chiefs of Defense (CHOD) 2025 secara maya.
Mesyuarat secara maya tersebut dipengerusikan oleh Admiral Samuel Paparo, Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) dan dihadiri oleh 27 orang Ketua-Ketua Angkatan Tentera dan wakil-wakil daripada rantau Indo-Pasifik. Mesyuarat tersebut menumpukan kepada isu-isu keselamatan serantau dan strategi untuk memperkukuhkan kerjasama bagi memajukan keselamatan global. Para peserta juga diberikan peluang untuk mencadangkan tajuk-tajuk yang menjadi kebimbangan bersama yang bakal dibincangkan sewaktu Persidangan CHOD 2025 secara bersemuka, yang dijadualkan untuk berlangsung di Teluk Thailand, Kerajaan Thailand dari 26 hingga 28 Ogos 2025.
